The chalet

A log cabin, made for six

Open the door and leave the mountain outside. Chalet Qitsuk was built from hand-stacked logs of Douglas fir, in a quiet neighbourhood bordered by forest and a short walk from the shops. Everything is ready for a stay you'll remember.

The 40 m² living room faces due south. By day the sun is enough to warm it; in the evening you light the wood stove and settle in. Firewood and electricity are included, and the rest of the chalet runs on underfloor heating. From the large terrace, the view runs all the way to the peaks.

The free shuttle to Pyrénées 2000 is a five-minute walk away, and a dedicated room takes your skis when you get back. On the day you arrive, Sandrine, who lives right across the way, comes to welcome you and hand over the keys in person.
